Raether oversees the four Teams of Home Care Medical: the Demand Team, the Supply Team, the Support Team and the Clinical Team. In her role as Interim President, Raether is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the mission and vision of Home Care Medical is successfully achieved with a qualified and experienced staff.
Among her many responsibilities as Interim President of Home Care Medical, Raether drives the strategic partnerships necessary for business growth and success while defining the values of Home Care Medical – Respect, Integrity, Dependability and Excellence. Raether provides strategic leadership to the organization, representing the company at the highest levels of external contact and has the autonomy to implement major company changes while supporting all HIPAA, Joint Commission and Home Care Medical policies and procedures.
Raether joined Home Care Medical in 2002. Her prior work experience includes multiple positions held at Actuant/Enerpac (Glendale, Wisconsin) Marketing Communications Manager; Sales Support Manager, Aftermarket; Project Manager, OEM and Inside Sales/Key Account Representative. Raether is an active member of Executive Agenda, IDN Advisory & Mentoring Board Member (The MED Group). Her recent accomplishments include completion of the Six Sigma Green Belt training.
CFO and Vice President, Finance, Home Care Medical, Inc., New Berlin, Wisconsin
Fabry oversees the Supply Team which includes the Finance and Purchasing departments. Fabry’s primary responsibility is to ensure financial stability through effective management of the inventory, delivery and collection practices of Home Care Medical’s services and supplies.
As CFO and VP of Finance, Fabry’s scope of responsibility includes seeking out new product and vendor opportunities and identifying potential business partnerships. Fabry is also instrumental in providing all Home Care Medical leadership with the financial tools necessary to facilitate sound business decisions.
Fabry’s role on the Executive Team at Home Care Medical allows her to participate and guide the Company in strategic planning and forecasting. Fabry’s business acumen also plays a major role in perspective acquisitions undertaken by the Organization with a constant eye on future business opportunities.
Hired as Manager of Finance and promoted to Director in 2010, Fabry has been with Home Care Medical since 2002. In January 2014, Fabry assumed the title and responsibilities of CFO and VP of Finance. Her prior work experience includes Supervisor of Financial Reporting at Compcare Health Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fabry is a graduate of UW-Oshkosh and is a Certified Public Accountant. Since 2004, Fabry has also been a volunteer with Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County. Fabry’s recent accomplishments include completion of the Six Sigma White Belt training.
Vice President, Administration, Home Care Medical, Inc., New Berlin, Wisconsin
Garven oversees the Support Team which includes responsibility for the Human Resources Department, Information Technology, Regulatory and Facility Compliance and Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance. Garven’s team also oversees much of the communication within the organization as it pertains to HIPAA, Joint Commission accreditation, confidentiality and compliance issues.
Garven’s primary focus is on ensuring that the Home Care Medical team is comprised of the most qualified and experienced staff in the healthcare market. Garven’s priority is to provide staff with the necessary tools and educational opportunities necessary to meet the needs of Home Care Medical’s referrals and clients. Garven is responsible for developing and enforcing policies and practices to ensure Home Care Medical is in good standing with Joint Commission accreditation standards.
As an active member of the Executive Team and Performance Improvement Committee, Garven brings a strategic outlook to business opportunities and organization capacity. With a focus on process improvement and Lean practices, Garven often steers quality initiatives within the Company.
A Home Care Medical team member since 1990, Garven’s prior work experience includes Director of Client Services for Home Care Medical and Manager of Customer Service at HME (previously We Care Medical), Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Garven is a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Interpersonal Communication and Business Administration. She is currently a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Garven’s recent accomplishments include completion of the Six Sigma Green Belt training.
The Demand Team
Director of Sales, Home Care Medical, Inc., New Berlin, Wisconsin
Zinda leads the Sales teams at Home Care Medical including the three retail stores’ sales forces, the field Sales Consultants and the Patient Care Coordinators located onsite at partner facilities. Zinda’s team is committed to growing market share within Home Care Medical’s service area while maintaining and exceeding the quality service expectations of the customers and referrals sources. In her role as Director of Sales, Zinda is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy which supports the strategic plans and initiatives for the Company. Utilizing effective research and marketing tools, Zinda and her team track the latest healthcare trends in order to support the five business lines of Home Care Medical.
Zinda has been with Home Care Medical since 2004 and her previous positions held within the Company include Manager of Sales and Sales Consultant. Prior to joining Home Care Medical, Zinda has held various Clinic Liaison and Client Service positions with Horizon Home Care and Hospice, Brown Deer, Wisconsin; and Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Zinda’s professional affiliations include membership with the National Association of Professional Women and community service contributions include board membership on Long Lake Preservation.
The Supply Team
Director, Operations, Home Care Medical, Inc., New Berlin, Wisconsin
As Director of Operations for Home Care Medical, Spellman has direct oversight of the Purchasing, Logistics, Service and Repair Departments. His primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations within the Supply Team. Spellman’s role is critical in establishing solid vendor relationships and efficient logistics and distribution streams. Spellman is also responsible for ensuring that the in-demand equipment and supplies necessary for fulfillment are available for referrals and clients.
Spellman joined Home Care Medical in 2011. His prior work experience includes President, Oxygen One, Waukesha, Wisconsin. Spellman’s recent accomplishments include completion of the Six Sigma White belt training.
Currently, Spellman is active with the Wisconsin Association of Medical Equipment Services (WAMES) and serves as their President. In both 2012 and 2013, he was recognized for his efforts on the WAMES Legislative Committee and received their Industry Excellence Award.
The Clinical Team
Director, Respiratory Services, Home Care Medical, Inc., New Berlin, Wisconsin
Smith leads the Respiratory Services Department at Home Care Medical ensuring that clients receive premier products and services specific to their respiratory needs. Smith’s team is comprised of respiratory therapists, EMTs and respiratory technicians all of whom are highly qualified in all areas of respiratory service. Under Smith’s leadership, her team serves clients from newborns/pediatrics to senior care to ventilator dependent clients. Smith’s primary responsibilities include development of respiratory programs that are in sync with clinical respiratory best practices while ensuring compliance with accreditation and professional standards of care.
Smith has been with Home Care Medical since 1986 and her previous positions held within the Company include Manager of Respiratory Care Services and Manager of Infant Monitoring. Smith has an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Concordia University. Smith’s Community Service includes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority member (Chaplin, Co-Chair of Emerging Young Leaders committee and Graduate Advisor for Marquette University). Her Industry Service includes: Member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC); Wisconsin Association of Medical Equipment (WAMES) Board of Directors, Chair of the Respiratory Division; and Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), Respiratory Advisory Board. Smith’s recent accomplishments include receiving the Distinguished Service Award and Exceptional Service Award (2012) and Industry Excellence Award (2013) for her efforts on the WAMES Respiratory Committee.
